The Official Rules
You can only send one entry for every challenge. Make it your best.
You can, however, enter in new challenges even if you've previously won a challenge.
There are no limitations on entry length. It can be as short or as long as you wish to make it. We've had winners who wrote three sentences and winners who wrote full short stories.
You must be registered to our newsletter in order to qualify for entering the challenge.
For challenges announced on the 1st of each month, the deadline is the 14th of the same month. For challenges announced on the 15th of each month, the deadline is the last day of the same month.
Your first name and an abbreviated version of your email address (e.g. ro...firstname.lastname@example.org) will be announced in the following newsletter issue and on the website, along with your complete entry.
If you aren't the winner of a given challenge, you retain all rights to your entry.
