Question: What is your greatest difficulty when writing fiction, and how do you overcome it?
My greatest difficulty is that space of time after writer’s block when my head is overflowing with plots and themes and scenes, words and phrases, but nothing is in order. It’s just chaotic. Then I start writing, pouring out as much as I can, which is akin to emptying a cupboard then placing everything back in order. Then that is overcome, and I can write with method again.
About Soter Lucio
I am a 65 year old great grandmother who works as an ironer by day and writes at night. My favorite genre is horror because being from the country area, with no current, all stories told by adults were quite spooky but enjoyable. They served a dual purpose. It was fun getting scared at the same time kept the young ones home at nights. I tell horror stories to my descendants. I’ve loved writing since my teens but started only a few years ago. I’ve had a few short stories accepted and published. I also have one collection published at Smashwords.
