Question: What is the best writing tip you've ever heard?

To write from experience. Many writers try to make up feelings and experiences. When we draw from our own experiences, we can genuinely get that point across to the reader. We can only be true with what we know. Life is art!! Draw from your life and let the reader empathize with you.

About Stephanie Keegan

I am a Gulf War veteran and mom of two grown boys. I drew my No Head Fred character in elementary school. He had no name or color. My son named him and the illustrators brought him to life with color.

I have a degree in English Lit.
