Question: What do you love most about writing fiction?

What I love most is the fact that fiction gives me the chance to flex my imagination and see how far I can stretch it. I have plenty of ideas running round in my head with different killers, murders and weapons and fiction helps to realise that so I can scare my readers in multiple ways. I want my readers to be scared to read my work, while reading my work, and to be scared that they can't stop reading it.

About Ian Fairgrieve

I'm 42 and recently been published with a short post-apocalyptic sci-fi story. I have 4 kids, 2 of my own and 2 stepdaughters. I've written a novella that's been compared to a dark version of Tarzan. I also have the sequel in the works. I've written 5 short horror stories with plans to do 13 for an anthology for Halloween. I also have ideas for a series of short superhero stories too.
