Question: Traditional publishing or self-publishing: which is the future?

I believe that the future of publishing is self-pubs. I've found that there are many very good authors using this platform because getting into a traditional publishing house is so difficult. However, as the self-published author of eleven books, I am always hoping to be picked up by a traditional publisher in order to make more money from my craft. I doubt that will ever happen, so I continue to self-publish to make my growing readership happy. They know that there will be at least one new book per year from me.
