Question: What is the best writing tip you've ever heard?
Write, write, write....that was the best writing tip I have heard since my school days. And when writing, keep the copies of your drafts until you find the grip of your story. That way you will see how your writing progresses.
And while others make an outline before writing, I prefer writing based on the title of the story. That's how I start writing.... work on the head first, and then the body follows. And the good thing about writing based on the title is that as you write, the outline of the story comes spontaneously.
About Gloria Hernandez Grejalde
I am a journalist by profession and have worked as a writer and editor in a news wire agency, a business magazine, and an online travel website.
While news-writing has been my life, it is my passion to write poems, narratives, and short stories. I have been dreaming to publish my own book of poems and my own memoir. I also love photography and have wildly thought of having my own photo exhibit.
