Question: Who is your favorite author and why?

My favorite author is Frances Hodgson Burnett that wrote The Secret Garden and A Little Princess that are both set in exotic India and England during Queen Victoria's England.

I particularly love The Secret Garden because it is set in Yorkshire, England; and the manor is surrounded by gardens; and I love the happy ending.
