Hero

Hero

Think of an adult whom you admired when you were a child. Write about that person’s childhood.

This exercise forces you to look at a hero as an ordinary person, with faults and drives and needs like all other people. It helps you take the hero off his/her pedestal and make them real. This could be a character study or the story of a real or imagined incident from that person’s childhood.
